Recording

Recording services are on a first-come first-serve basis and depends on our schedule and availability.

Professional Recording

Ash Matthews is available to travel to YOU to record at the studio of your choice (location-dependent). If you are located in or near Dayton, OH, we would recommend/request that we hold our studio session at Razdabar Sound and Management. If you are located in or near Indianapolis, IN we would recommend/request that we hold our studio session at 303 Recording or at Round Table Recording Studios.

Dswove is also providing recording, mixing, and mastering services out of his private studio in Troy, OH.

DEPOSIT POLICY

A 1-hr deposit is required to book a session. Any sessions over 4 hours require a 50% total cost deposit. 

Deposits are applied toward session cost. Cancellations or rescheduling within 48-hours of the start time of the session result in a forfeit of the deposit. If notified at least 48-hours in advance, the deposit may be refunded or applied to a rescheduling deposit. 

LATE/NO-CALL/NO-SHOW POLICY

The clock starts at the designated time of the session. Due to scheduling, there is no guarantee that lost time can be made up at the end of the session. Any additional make-up time will be charged at full price by quarter hours.

Example: If the session is booked for 2-4pm, and you arrive at 2:15 you will still be charged for 2 hours. If you arrive at 2:15 and we are able to carry it over and go to 4:15, then you will be for 2.25 hours. 

However, if you know you are going to be late - contacting us at least 30 minutes before your session may allow us to adjust your start and end times to avoid being charged for missed time.

Multiple instances of lateness, or single instances of No-Call/No-Show will result in a required 100% deposit to book your next session.

RECORDING SESSIONS - MIXING

It is important to remember that at the end of your session, you are living with a mix of the song. This can, but doesn’t need to be, the final mix of the song and it is NOT a mastered version of the song. Mastering is a separate process and service. For additional mixing or mastering, please communicate with us to arrange those services.

FILES

We share all drafts, mixes, and masters via Google Drive. You are more than welcome to bring a hard drive to transfer files, including session files. We have multiple backups and keep all of our session files, in case you ever need to us to send or transfer anything.
